The 2004 annual Korean martial arts seminar was held at the Martial Art Fitness Centers, Inc. of Rochester, MN. During the seminar, May 17-23, 2004, people from Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Florida had the opportunity to train with the President of the Korea SimMuDo Association Grandmaster Song, Pan Gon. The training consisted in the fundamental elements of SimMuDo: striking, throws, joint locks, and weaponry.

There was a youth seminar held each weeknight from 5:00-6:00, followed by an all ages and all ranks seminar from 6:00-8:00. Then from 8:00-9:30 was a black belts only seminar. On Saturday, the seminar was an all ages and ranks event from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, followed by a spectacular martial arts show at 6:00 pm. The SimMuDo black belt promotion test was held on Sunday.
