Culture & Martial Arts Tour - October 12-21, 2006

Martial Arts Training & Activities

The martial arts training and activities on this tour are carefully arranged by GrandMaster Song Pan Kon. The training will again be taught by several masters from the Korea Simmudo Association. The areas of training will include a wide range of Simmudo, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Yudo, and Kyuktoogi techniques. Each Master will provide training in his particular area of expertise.

Past tours have also included:

  • Witnessing several of the Korean masters demonstrating their martial arts skills.
  • Visiting the Kukkiwon - World TKD Federation Headquarters.
  • Shopping in martial arts supply stores. These stores have some very unique training videos, uniforms, weapons, sparring gear, flags, banners, books, clothing
  • Korean museum of martial arts history.
  • Some of our travelers in the past have competed in the annual Siheung Martial Arts tournament.
